I remember watching the black & white Flash Gordon series when I was a little nipper. Back then the hero would at the end of an episode get crushed under an avalanche or zapped by a deathray only for the next episode to show him jump out of the way just moments before getting crushed or zapped. Hydra Miniatures produce a range of retro sci-fi miniatures that mimic the early sci-fi era.
You will find on their site nobbly robots, evil emperors (reminiscent of Ming the Merciless) and wonderful starships that you can imagination flying through space with their firework exhaust plumes.
Matthew Beauchamp of Hydra Miniatures announces that,
“This friday, April 23rd we’ll be releasing the first of our spaceships for War Rocket, our upcoming pulp sci-fi space combat game.”
